The most well known Ghost Writer
I’ve been writing songs and chants for as long as I can remember. At the very least they come through me. Some songs I can honestly say I didn’t write. What do I mean by this? Well, the content of the songs is so far beyond the level of understanding I have at the time that I know they must be written by someone else. This someone else goes by many names and for me they have no gender or race. I call this Ghost writer “The Most High”.
When I was 11 years old I was writing raps about relationship problems that I had never experienced. I found that one of these raps actually ministered to me and gave me much-needed advice years later. In 2008 long before I had a husband and children I wrote a song called “For Healing”, I went on to record this song in the same studio and with the same producer that Kirk Franklin and Ludacris use whenever they are in Cincinnati, Ohio. Almost 10 years later I find myself with a husband and children (3 children) and I can see that this song was just The Most High sending some inspiration to my future self.
I’ve accomplished much in my life. I graduated from Howard University. I’ve practiced as a registered nurse mostly in the pediatric intensive care unit for over 10 years. I’ve had my music videos played on television. I’ve birthed 2 children naturally at home (with a midwife). I am a priestess of Sacred Feminine Mysteries and while much of my journey and even my music may not fit into the box of what some may call “Godly” there has been a force Ghost writing every success and every song I’ve ever written.
For me music is much more than catchy lyrics and a nice beat. It’s a tool that can be used to uplift people or bring them down. It’s a tool that can be used to bring awareness to topics people don’t want to talk about and a vehicle that can be used to bring dark emotions to the surface so they can be healed.
I’m still unfolding and I don’t have it all figured out. I just pray that I can become a clearer and clearer channel for the most popular Ghost writer to ever do it!
